My name is Megan and I am 27 years old.
I live and studied in the UK.
I have been a professional photographer for 4 years and enjoy every second of it.
I have photographed many different subjects, but I specialise in newborn and family photography.
I'm inspired by the love of my friends and family.
My favourite thing about being a photographer is capturing those special moments in life, that sometimes go unnoticed by others.
A laugh, a joke, a smile or perhaps that very special kiss.
Knowing that people have those precious images to treasure forever fills me with joy.

Newborn, Baby & some family sessions take place in the comfort of your own home.
This allows you and your little ones to feel as relaxed as you possibly can :)
Bigger groups, couples, pets & messy play sessions usually take place outside at an idyllic location near you.

Just send me an email through the 'Booking Inquiries' section at the top of this page and I will be in contact asap.
Please leave as much info in the message box as you can.
Such as: What shoot you would like to book, what date and time you are thinking of booking for and what area you are located in.
(My usual replies are within 48- 72 hours.)
Step two is booking your appointment. During this time I will ask a few questions to get to know you and your family a bit better. We will also confirm a date and time to get you booked in my diary.
Its always a good idea for you to have a list of any questions that you would like to ask me at this point.

Due to all babies developing at different rates then this can vary.
Each of my sessions are based on which stage your baby is at.
However, I can give you some rough guidelines from experience on what ages work best:)
Newborns: 0-4 weeks(the younger the better)
Sitter sessions: 6-10 Months
Toddler Shoot: 1-3 years
As stated, these are just guided ages that I have chosen from my experience over the years.

I love what I do and I enjoy making people happy with my images & experience.
Thankfully, being a freelance photographer, gives me the advantage of offering you the best price.
Typically, photography is known as an expensive trade and usually would cost about £500- £3000.
I offer a few different packages in order to try & suit everyone's budget.
I have decided on these prices as I think its important to charge as little as possible for these special moments.
My packages range from £100 - £300
(Wedding photography varies from £400-£1200)
You can pay via PayPal, cash or bank transfer.
£10 deposit will secure your date.
Please know that you will be asked to pay £100 non refundable booking deposit if you are requesting a wedding date.
Always keep an eye out for additional discounts and special offers.

I have set time frames for each session in order to allow set up & packing away, whilst also giving you and your loved ones enough time to feel at ease.
However,
when it comes to newborns, babies and toddlers they take control (as I'm sure you know.. hehe)
Therefore I try to tailor each of my sessions to suit your needs and wishes.
I ask that you allow 4 hours for a newborn session. This is so there is enough time to feed, settle and position baby throughout the shoot. I know this sounds long but trust me, it allows us to capture the perfect images without feeling stressed.
Any other session (except weddings) usual last between 1-2 hours.
I aim to make this experience as personal to you as I can. After all, I'm only there to take the pictures, you are what makes the perfect image.

Parents ask me this question all the time. They can also feel stressed during the shoot because their little one is having a 'melt down'.
Honestly, this happens more times than you may think.
This is totally fine and no parent should feel ashamed or sorry. They are babies and that's what they do. Sometimes the natural photos can hold the most character :)
Remember that you are in control and I will only continue photographing whilst you and your family are happy for me to do so.
Over the past 5 years working with young children, I do have some tips and tricks to calm them when they are sad. Although, if you or myself feel like its becoming to stressful for them, then we can end the shoot and find a time that best suits you to reschedule.

After your shoot has taken place, I will then edit your pictures (this can take up to 4 weeks to receive your images, weddings can take up to 8 weeks)
My editing style is very natural. Mainly I will erase any blemishes and make sure the colours, temperature and tones compliment the photo. If you wish to have further edits done then please let me know:)
Once they are edited, you will be emailed thumbnails (watermarked copies) of your images. This will allow you to sit in the comfort of your own home and select your desired photos without feeling stressed or pressured. (unless you have purchase all the images already, in which case please see below*)
Once you have finally made a decision, all that's left to do is let me know which pictures you would like. Then I can send you a link to Dropbox, where you will have access to your beautiful high resolution images.
*If you have already purchased an all image package then you will be emailed a link to Dropbox where your high resolution images and personalised movie will await your 'Oooos' & 'Awwws'

You can have endless fun with your new professional digital images. Here are just a few ideas:
~You can create stunning wall art for your home.
~Design your own thank you cards to give out to friends and family. Or to announce that your 'bundle of joy' has arrived
~Use them to make unique and personalised birthday or Christmas presents. such as Mugs, Blankets, Cushions, Coasters, Calendars, etc...
~Post you images onto social media to show off your little model. (But...don't forget to tag me. hehe) You can even enter my monthly competition. See Facebook to find out more.
~Make a scrapbook for you and you little one to look back on.
~Or just simply print them out and pop them in a frame for you to admire everyday.
